Gabe's mother brought this Rhubarb from Minnesota to us in Chicago, IL. It is a perennial vegetable that comes back every year and is a favorite for the kids to dip the stalk in sugar or honey. It has the similar fibrous chewyness of celery but is quite tart. It comes up early (march in Chicago), takes many forms, and gets HUGE.
